ccTask is an easy way to delegate tasks via email, track status updates, and keep a copy of all changes and communications in one place. Most of us, use email to manage projects, tasks, progress, etc.. Email provides instant communication and some level of record keeping. However, email is an unstructured format, which makes it hard to track, query or report on.

With ccTask, you can combine the convenience of email with the power of centralized databases to organize and manage your project information more efficiently. It's available for free hosted by us. For a monthly fee, we'll add file uploads to your account. Or, if you would like to run this application custom branded in your own intranet/extranet, we also offer commercial licenses.


How does it work?

1.   You fill in a simple task form, including description, assignee, and due date.
2.   The information is sent in an email to the assignee and a copy is stored in our database.
3.   The assignee can then accept or reject the assignment, or ask follow-up questions.
4.   Once accepted, the assignee works on the task, sends status updates, files, questions, etc.
5.   When done, the assignee marks the task 'finished', and if you agree, the task is 'complete'.

Other considerations

1.   All communication is timestamped and kept in database records.
2.   The site provides organized views of all tasks, sorted, grouped, categorized.
3.   See the status of all tasks instantaneously. Drill into the history for details.
4.   Paid licenses include file uploads and custom branding on your own servers.
